THE PRIMALS are the official rock band of Final Fantasy XIV, formed by the game's sound director Masayoshi Soken to perform heavy metal arrangements of the MMORPG's beloved soundtrack. The band transforms the orchestral and electronic compositions of FFXIV into thundering live rock performances, featuring Soken on guitar and vocals alongside a full band that brings the game's epic battle themes to concert stages. Their sold-out performances at Yokohama Arena and Makuhari Messe have demonstrated that video game music can fill the biggest venues when given the full rock band treatment.
