The Unguided
The Unguided formed in Falkenberg, Sweden in 2010, founded by brothers Richard and Roger Sjunnesson along with other former members of Sonic Syndicate following their departure from that band. Signed initially to Despotz Records, the band released their debut full-length Hell Frost in 2011, establishing a melodic death metal approach with keyboards and dual-vocal dynamics. Fragile Immortality (2014) and Lust and Loathing (2016) followed on Napalm Records, and the band released their sixth studio album Hellven in 2025, demonstrating continued productivity within the Gothenburg-influenced melodic death metal template.
