Twin Obscenity formed in Stavanger, Norway in 1991 and 1992, playing a style that blended black and death metal with Viking-era atmospheric elements. Their debut Where Light Touches None (1997) was released on Head Not Found, followed by For Blood, Honor and Soil on Century Media Records after the band signed to the label in 1998. The band released three full-length albums before disbanding.
