Unanimated
Unanimated formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 1988 and were early contributors to the melodic death and black metal hybrid that emerged from the Swedish underground in the early 1990s. Their debut In the Forest of the Dreaming Dead (1993) stands among the earliest examples of melodic death metal on record, followed by Ancient God of Evil (1995) on No Fashion Records. The band dissolved in 1996 and reformed years later, releasing In the Light of Darkness (2009) and continuing to record.
