Uuhai
Uuhai formed in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in 2020, founded by Otgonbaatar Damba of established Mongolian heavy metal band Hurd. The band incorporates traditional Mongolian instruments — including the Morin Khuur horse-head fiddle and Tovshuur lute — alongside conventional metal arrangements, and employs throat singing (khoomei) and long-song (urtiin duu) vocal techniques in place of Western extreme metal vocals. After touring Europe and releasing early singles, the band signed with Napalm Records and announced their debut album Human Herds.
