Vektor

Vektor formed in Tempe, Arizona in 2004 — operating earlier under the name Locrian — and became one of the most acclaimed technical thrash metal acts of the 2010s through a style that grafted Voivod's dissonant science fiction atmosphere onto the most demanding end of thrash's technical tradition. Their debut Black Future (2009) received widespread critical recognition, and Terminal Redux (2016) on Earache Records is widely regarded as their most ambitious work, a concept album spanning progressive and extreme metal in roughly equal measure. Three studio albums document the band's career.
