Venom Prison
Venom Prison formed in South Wales in 2014, fronted by vocalist Larissa Stupar, and built their reputation on a confrontational brand of death metal that incorporated metalcore and grindcore intensity with explicitly feminist and socially critical lyrical content. Their debut Animus (2016) drew immediate attention from extreme metal circles, and Samsara (2019) and Erebos (2022) furthered their profile through extensive international touring. The band put their activity on hold after 2022.
