Wormrot
Wormrot formed in Singapore in 2007 and rapidly emerged as one of the most internationally recognized grindcore acts outside of the genre's traditional Anglo-American centers. After a self-released debut EP, their 2009 full-length Abuse earned a deal with Earache Records, who also released Dirge (2011) and Voices (2016). The band made history in 2017 as the first Singaporean act to perform at Glastonbury Festival; Hiss (2022) further consolidated their critical standing with a tightly executed set of concussive short-form extremity.
