Xatarxa is a sludge metal and crust band from Mexico City, formed in 2024 and signed to Smolder Brains Records. The four-piece — featuring Hugo Mendoza on vocals, Ivan Bam Blancas on guitars, David Beas on bass, and Gerson Paredes on drums — released their debut full-length La Tragedia de los Comunes in February 2024, a ten-track record sung entirely in Spanish. Drummer Gerson Paredes also plays in Oculto.
