Yabgu
Folk metal band from Izmir, Turkey, founded in 2008 by multi-instrumentalist Mustafa Boz. Named after the Old Turkic title for a high king, the band weaves traditional Central Asian and Anatolian Turkish musical elements into their metal, singing in Old Turkic, Modern Turkish, and English across releases like the "Uyan" EP and singles "Temir Ulus" and "Ergenekon."
