Mordrom is a continuation of Crux Cullum, a band that ran from 2007 to 2016 before being resurrected under this name in 2024. The project blends death metal with thrash and black metal undercurrents, channeling themes of occultism, misanthropy, and anti-religion, with the album "Walking to Bloody Death" representing their current direction.
Municion is a black/thrash metal band from Santa Fe, Argentina who built a live reputation sharing stages with international acts including Aura Noir, Mystifier, and Tsjuder. The band released the EP "Black, Speed & Evil" in 2015 through Execracion Distro before issuing their debut full-length "Fukk Off In Hell" in 2021 via Alkolik Holocaust Records.
Formed by guitarist Jazz Kaipora and vocalist Claudia Franco, Murderess weave together death, black, and doom metal with lyrics centered on female resistance and historical figures erased by official narratives — including a track dedicated to Soviet WWII sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko. The band released the EP "Time to Kill" in 2024 and followed it with "Time to Kill: Volume II" via Electric Funeral Records, quickly earning attention beyond the Brasília underground.
Myrkgand is essentially a one-man project driven by Dmitry Luna, whose 2017 debut album enlisted guest appearances from members of Symphony X, Novembers Doom, Mystifier, and Korzus to flesh out its mythology-drenched blend of melodic death, black, and folk metal. The 2022 follow-up Rituals & Wisdom was recorded in Oslo and Lisbon with Øystein Brun of Borknagar producing, pushing the project's ambitions into genuinely international territory.
Formed in Salvador, Bahia in 1989 by Beelzeebubth, Lucifuge Rofocale, Behemoth, and Meugninousouan, Mystifier are one of the foundational names in the Brazilian extreme underground, blending primitive black metal brutality with a dark, ceremonial atmosphere and restrained synth use. Their run of records — Wicca (1992), Göetia (1993), The World Is So Good That Who Made It Does Not Live Here (1996), and Profanus (2001) — established them as the most significant black metal band from the northeast of the country.
Mörbidez is a one-man black thrash project that recorded its entire debut, Sob o Signo de Belial, between April and May 2020 at the creator's own Casa da Bruxa studio in Vitória. The album channels the ragged energy of first-wave black metal and South American speed metal through nine Portuguese-language tracks steeped in satanic imagery, and was released in June 2020 alongside a bonus covers EP titled Limbo.
A raw black metal cult drawing directly from the second wave Scandinavian tradition, Mørkalv features members with roots in other extreme underground acts including Necroholocaust and Blood Sorcery. Their 2023 debut album "An Ancient Cult to the Aesir" delivers eight tracks built on Nordic themes, cold-blooded riffs, and an organic, deliberately rudimentary production that suits the band's uncompromising aesthetic.
