Hereticae is a blackened death metal band from Londrina, Brazil, formed in 2015 with lyrical themes rooted in Thelema philosophy and anti-colonialist struggle. The band released their debut EP New Aeon Trinity in 2017, followed by the full-length Ecos do Atlântico in 2020 and a second album, Maior Que Deus, in 2025. Their sound draws heavily from Behemoth, Belphegor, and fellow Brazilian extreme act Sarcófago.
Mindpath is the solo project of Viña del Mar musician Iván Stevens, blending blackened death metal with progressive and acoustic elements. The project has released a series of albums including Psychosis, and the Silence that Prevails (2012), the EP Versos Nostálgicos de un Individuo Cualquiera (2013), From Where the Highest Mountain Came (2013), and A la tierna indiferencia del mundo (2015), all made available as free digital downloads under Creative Commons licensing.
Najash is a blackened death metal band from Posadas, Misiones, whose current lineup includes Alejandro Llanos on vocals and bass, Maximiliano Espachuk and Esteban Rucker on guitars, and Mateo Castillo on drums. The band released their debut album "Viperaeon" in June 2019 via El Conjuro Records, followed by the "Beata Extinción" 7" EP in December 2019 and the full-length "Ara Sacrificial" in 2021.
Formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 1989 by drummer Joakim Sterner and guitarist David Parland, Necrophobic built their reputation on a ferocious synthesis of Swedish death metal and black metal, rooted in the aesthetic of Slayer's Reign in Blood. Their 1993 debut The Nocturnal Silence established the template they would refine across a decade of records, with Darkside (1997) and Bloodhymns (2002) cementing their blackened edge. The band has remained consistently active, releasing Mark of the Necrogram (2018) and Dawn of the Damned (2020) to renewed critical attention.
Nocturnal Desecration is a two-piece blackened death metal band from Posadas, Misiones, Argentina, consisting of Demonspeed on guitars and vocals and Érebo on drums. Their debut release, Liberation Through Death, a six-track EP recorded at Away From the Light Studio in Posadas, was released on December 2, 2022, issued on pro CD through Ablaze Productions (Mexico) and on cassette through Metal Squad Records (Argentina).
Old Grave channel the primitive savagery of Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, and Venom into a blackened death metal attack built around the core trio of Jonas Hoerlle (drums), Jailson Santos (guitar), and Marcelo Scheeren (vocals). The band cut their teeth performing regionally before entering the studio to record their 2020 demo, a raw document of their devotion to first-wave extremity.
Pacta Corvina are a blackened death and doom metal trio whose music fuses crushing heaviness with explicitly antifascist politics, weaving lyrics in both Portuguese and English across their releases. They debuted with a self-titled EP in late 2022 and followed it with the full-length Ignis et Sulphur, which sharpened their attack into a dense, riff-heavy record with an underground occult atmosphere.
Founded and led by vocalist and composer Azi Dahaka, Profane Art executes dense blackened death metal built around Luciferian doctrine and a focus on inner chaos as a catalyst for spiritual transformation. Active since the mid-2010s, the band has released early material including the "Order 666" demo and has been developing their debut full-length.
Samot is a blackened death metal band from Maipú, Chile, formed in 2014, signed to US label Unspeakable Axe Records. Drawing on themes of darkness, vampirism, and the beyond, they released their debut demo "The Beginning" in 2015 and followed it with the EP "Across the Abyss" in 2016.
