The Intravenous from the Atlantic port of Saint-Nazaire deliver doom and death metal that flows directly into the bloodstream with their medically-named compositions since 2009. Over fifteen years of output from the Loire estuary, they have maintained a direct, unfiltered approach to crushing heaviness.
The Juliet Massacre is a death metal and deathcore band from Vasto in the Chieti province, Italy, formed in 2007. They combine death metal brutality with deathcore breakdowns and intense aggression.

The Killing is a death metal and grindcore band from Grand Bourg, Buenos Aires, formed in 2017. Panama City, Florida's The Killing Toke have been building their sprawling black/death/doom hybrid since 2013, drawing from across the extreme metal spectrum without ever sounding scattered. Their name gestures toward the psychedelic, and indeed there's a haze running through their music that softens the brutality just enough to add disorientation to the dread. They're a singular entry in the Florida panhandle underground — a region better known for beach towns than for extreme metal.
