Teleost is a stoner/drone/doom metal band from York, formed in 2022. Named after the largest group of bony fishes, their music plumbs the depths of low-end heaviness through droning, glacially-paced doom with stoner metal's fuzz-laden warmth.
Temenos were a death/doom metal duo from Antwerp Province, Belgium, formed in 2001, consisting of multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Richard Cork and drummer Colin Sharman. The pair had previously collaborated in the 1970s band Caduceus and reunited after roughly three decades to explore slow, heavy music across a series of studio albums before eventually splitting.

Liège heavy doom outfit Temple of Nothing describe their sound simply as 'Down-tempo. Heavy. Doom. Rock.' and have been applying that creed since their 2010 debut EP Lazarus. Their 2013 full-length Psalms of Solitary Self-Indulgence expanded on that foundation, earning the band a following within the European doom and sludge underground.
Detroit's Temple of the Fuzz Witch formed in 2017 in the shadow of a city that has been making heavy, slow music for decades, and their stoner/doom approach carries that industrial weight in every note. Electric fuzz saturates their sound from root to stem — lumbering riffs, warm distortion, and the hypnotic pull of a groove that moves like machinery.
Detroit's Temple of Void formed in spring 2013, drawing on early British doom — Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride — and old-school American death metal in the vein of Autopsy and early Death to construct their methodical, crushing sound. Their debut Of Terror and the Supernatural was reissued by Shadow Kingdom in 2015, and subsequent albums Lords of Death (2017), The World That Was (2020), and Summoning the Slayer (2022) cemented their standing in the death-doom underground. Their most recent release, The Crawl, appeared in March 2026.
Temples is a sludge/stoner/doom metal band from Helsinki, Finland, formed in 2013. They combine sludge, stoner, and doom into a crushing wall of heaviness.
Rotterdam's Tempter blend traditional heavy metal's melodic sensibility with doom metal's ponderous weight, occupying a middle ground between fist-raising anthems and suffocating heaviness since 2013.
