Sabazius has been crafting extraordinarily lengthy drone/doom metal from the seaside city of Brighton since 2008. Named after the Phrygian sky deity, their mammoth compositions can stretch well beyond an hour, pushing drone-doom to its most extreme temporal limits.
An Austrian project whose name translates to "slaughterhouse future," Schlachthaus Zukunft began as an ambient black/industrial metal and drone outfit before evolving toward progressive and black metal territory across albums including "Absolve Domine" (2016), "Broken Chords Of Doom" (2018), and "Down to Heaven" (2020).
