Teleost is a stoner/drone/doom metal band from York, formed in 2022. Named after the largest group of bony fishes, their music plumbs the depths of low-end heaviness through droning, glacially-paced doom with stoner metal's fuzz-laden warmth.
Boston's Tentacle have been exploring the furthest reaches of drone/doom since 2012, a city with a rich tradition of crushing, slow-moving metal that they honor and push into more abstract territory.
