A-Z is an American hard rock and progressive metal supergroup formed in 2020, the project of former Fates Warning and Warlord drummer Mark Zonder — the band name standing for Alder through Zonder. The core lineup features Fates Warning vocalist Ray Alder, bassist Philip Bynoe (Steve Vai, Warlord), guitarist Joop Wolters, and keyboardist Vivien Lalu, releasing their self-titled debut on Metal Blade Records in 2022 with artwork by Hugh Syme. A sophomore album, A2Z², followed with guitarist Nick Van Dyk (Redemption) and Simone Mularoni (DGM) joining the collaboration, continuing in a melodic, AOR-influenced progressive metal direction.

Addicted to Pain was a heavy metal and hard rock band from São Paulo, Brazil, led by vocalist and keyboardist João Paulo Pretti and featuring a lineup with ties to prominent Brazilian acts including Warrel Dane's touring band, Noturnall, Shadowside, and Seventh Seal. Their debut EP "Queen of All Lies" was produced at Norcal Studios in São Paulo, with keyboardist Juninho Carelli of Noturnall guesting on the lead single "The Kings Never Die".
AISA are a heavy metal and hard rock band from Santiago formed in 2019 by Julio Soto (bassist of SteelRage and DarkSpell) alongside vocalist Eva Murgas (of Beerhalla). Alakran is a Buenos Aires heavy metal and hard rock band with roots going back to 1982, making them one of Argentina's longest-running acts in the genre. Founded by guitarist Gady Pampillón and vocalist Mario Curcio, the band released albums including Vagabundear and Otra vez en las calles (1991), and has since continued under vocalist Mario Ian through multiple reunion periods. Alianza was a Buenos Aires heavy metal project formed by vocalist Adrián Barilari and keyboardist Hugo Bistolfi following their departure from Rata Blanca in the early 1990s. The duo released three albums — "Sueños del Mundo" (1994), "Alianza" (1997), and "Huellas" (1999) — blending melodic heavy metal with the symphonic keyboard work that defined Bistolfi's style.

His 2001 debut I Get Wet on Island Records, anchored by the anthemic "Party Hard," became a cult classic and established his persona as an unironic apostle of positivity and excess. He has released six studio albums through 2021, including God Is Partying, while also maintaining a career as a motivational speaker and public figure.
