Zeke

Formed in Seattle, Washington in 1992, Zeke built their reputation on an unrelenting fusion of hardcore punk speed, Motörhead-rooted rock and roll, and the hot rod and motorcycle culture of the American Pacific Northwest. After early releases on Scooch Pooch Records, they signed with Epitaph and released Kicked in the Teeth (1997), and later moved to Relapse Records for 'Til the Livin' End (2004) and the long-awaited Hellbender (2017), their first studio album in thirteen years. Often cited as godfathers of speed rock, they remain a benchmark for the collision of punk velocity and hard rock directness.

Zouo

Zouo was an Osaka, Japan hardcore punk band active from 1981 to 1984, formed within a local skateboard scene that produced several seminal Japanese underground acts of the period. Their primary release, the 7" EP The Final Agony (1984), became one of the most sought-after artifacts of early Japanese hardcore, often cited alongside G.I.S.M. for its raw production and metallic guitar leads. The band's complete recorded output, including live tracks, was reissued by Relapse Records in 2021 as Agony Remains, making the material widely available for the first time in decades. Members went on to form and participate in other Japanese punk and hardcore projects after Zouo's dissolution.

ZSK is a Berlin, Germany punk rock and skate punk band formed in 1997, known for politically charged, anti-fascist lyrics delivered over melodic hardcore arrangements influenced by Bad Religion and Rise Against. The band released a trilogy of well-received albums through the late 1990s and 2000s before splitting in 2007, then reunited in 2011 and released the long-awaited Herz für die Sache (2013) on People Like You Records. Their Kein Bock auf Nazis campaign drew support from major German acts including Die Ärzte and Die Toten Hosen. They remain one of the most prominent voices in the German political punk scene.
