Warfire is a heavy/thrash metal band from Tatuí, São Paulo, Brazil, drawing from classic 1980s metal and the Brazilian heavy metal tradition. The band released the EP It's Time to War and the album Heralds of Eternal Order (2017), the latter issued as a limited CD through Breath of Pestilence.
Wargrave is a heavy/thrash metal band from Bahia, Brazil, formed in 2016 with lyrical themes centred on war and armageddon. The band has self-released several recordings including Suffering the Void (2015), Zone 51 (2016), and Flames of War (2017), operating as an independent act on their Bandcamp page.
Warred was founded in São Paulo by guitarists Arthur Ernandes and Rodrigo Andrade, who built the band around a shared passion for classic acts like Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Judas Priest. They released the EP "Wild Legion" in 2013 and went on to record their debut full-length "The Siren" in 2022, a 12-track album that marked a shift toward a heavier melodic metal and metalcore sound. Singer Pedro Mion joined the band as a key creative collaborator on the album's compositions.
Wild Storm is a heavy/power metal band from São Paulo formed by guitarist and main composer Emerson Aquino alongside vocalist Claudio Santana, bassist Diego Cachigian, and drummer Davyd Havier. Drawing heavily from the classic grammar of Judas Priest, Running Wild, and Grave Digger, the band released their debut full-length "The Crimson Dawn" in October 2025 through Storm Atoom Records. The 12-track album covers themes ranging from individual liberty to the brutality of combat, and the band has lined up live shows across Brazil's underground circuit in support.
Wishmaster was a heavy and progressive metal band from Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, listed in the Encyclopaedia Metallum with the 2003 demo Egypt among their known recordings. The band operated as an independent unsigned act throughout their existence and has since split up. Their style combined the melodic weight of traditional heavy metal with progressive song structures.
Zyx66 is an instrumental Heavy/Thrash/Death Metal project from Ilo, Moquegua, Peru, formed in 2020. The duo released three demos in 2022 followed by two full-length albums, Abandonen toda esperanza (2023) and Bajo el sonido del caos (2024).
