Founded by vocalist Tiago Monteiro and guitarist Mad Ferreira, Ode Insone blend gothic doom with melodic death metal and lyrical darkness sung entirely in Portuguese. In the span of three years they released three albums — Relógio (2018), A Origem da Agonia (2019), and Isolamento: Do Silêncio à Poesia (2020) — each weaving slow, heavy riffs into poetry-driven reflections on despair and existential isolation.
Panteon are a melodic death/black metal band from San Salvador de Jujuy in northwestern Argentina, one of the few metal acts operating in that region. Metal Archives documents two albums under their name — a self-titled release and Septum — and the band has been active across multiple periods since the late 1990s, signed at various points to Total Desaster Productions.
Quintessente is a melodic death and gothic metal band from Rio de Janeiro founded in 1994 under the name Quintessence, with a current lineup of vocalist André Carvalho, guitarist Cristiano Dias, keyboardist and vocalist Cristina Müller, bassist Luiz Fernando de Paula, and drummer Leo Birigui. After releasing two demos in 1996 and 2000 and a roughly 15-year hiatus, the band returned in 2015 and issued their debut full-length Songs from Celestial Spheres in 2017, which was later re-released digitally by Roadie Metal in 2019.
Melodic death/thrash/groove metal band from Lavras, Minas Gerais, founded in early 2012 by guitarists Renan Seabra and Beto Siqueira. The band released the three-track demo Perpetual on July 2, 2013, and followed it with the independently produced full-length No More Silence in 2015, recording the album after winning the Tenda Combat award at the 2014 Roça n' Roll festival.
Melodic black/death metal band from the Sorocaba area of São Paulo state, formed in 2014 by songwriters Matheus Scarlate and Luis Doda. The band released their debut full-length, A Trapped Call in the Depths, on January 18, 2020, an eleven-track self-produced album; they split up in 2021.
V.I.D.A. is a melodic death/thrash/metalcore trio from Zárate, Buenos Aires, Argentina, built around brothers Jorge and Javier Cybula on bass/vocals and guitar/vocals respectively, alongside drummer Javier Cuello. The band released the album "Mentes Enfermas" in 2018, followed by "Memorias" in 2021, and earned second place at the Wacken Open Air Metal Battle in 2022.
