Eterno Rancor is a melodic death/nu-metal/metalcore band from Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, formed in 2022. The band released their debut album "Decadência" in 2022 and followed it with "Limbo da Esperança" in 2025, exploring themes of nihilism and existentialism.
Eths formed in Marseille, France in 1996 and developed a distinctive metalcore and groove metal sound that drew comparisons to Meshuggah and Tool while incorporating the contrasting clean and harsh vocal interplay of frontwoman Candice Clot. Their 2004 debut full-length Soma sold over 25,000 copies in France on the strength of an extensive 120-date tour, and the follow-up Tératologie (2007) expanded their international reach. After releasing III (2012) and Ankaa (2016), the band announced their dissolution in November 2016.
