The band blends dissonant guitar work with themes of existential emptiness, drawing on blackgaze and experimental rock influences alongside their doom and post-metal core. They have released three albums — "Without Memories," "Into the Solitude," and "She's Looking for Flowers Under City Light" — and performed at the Eclipse Doom Festival in São Paulo.

Buried Inside formed in Ottawa, Ontario in 1997, drawing on the precedents set by Neurosis and Isis to develop a dense, slow-burning sound that merged post-metal atmospherics with hardcore aggression. The band released four studio albums, including Chronoclast (2005) and Spoils of Failure (2009), both on Relapse Records, with the former written as a continuous 40-minute composition. They played their final show in Ottawa in November 2010.
