Call of the Void formed in Denver, Colorado around 2010, formerly operating as Ironhorse, and quickly established themselves as one of the heaviest acts in the American underground by blending grindcore blast beats with crust punk grit and sludge metal weight. Signed to Relapse Records, the band released Dragged Down a Dead End Path (2013), Ageless (2015), and Buried in Light (2019). Their approach draws equally from 1980s hardcore aggression and the nihilistic density of doom.
