I Prevail launched from Southfield, Michigan in 2013 and rapidly ascended from posting a viral cover of Taylor Swift's 'Blank Space' to becoming one of the biggest bands in modern metalcore. Ill Nino are a Union City, New Jersey metal band whose music helped define Latin-influenced nu metal and alternative metal in the early 2000s. Formed in 1998, the group broke through with Revolution Revolucion, an album that placed heavy downtuned guitars, shouted and melodic vocals, percussion, bilingual phrasing, and Latin rhythmic accents inside the broader Roadrunner-era metal boom. Their best-known songs combine groove-driven riffs with choruses that open into melody, giving the band a sound that was aggressive but instantly recognizable. In This Moment evolved from a metalcore band into one of metal's most visually spectacular acts under the creative direction of vocalist Maria Brink, who founded the band in Los Angeles in 2005. Brink's transformation into a theatrical performer, combining industrial metal, goth aesthetics, and ritualistic stage shows, peaked on albums like 'Blood' and 'Black Widow.' Her commanding presence and willingness to reinvent the band's visual and sonic identity with each album cycle has made In This Moment a singular force in modern metal.

InMe formed in Brentwood, Essex in 1996, originally playing under the name Drowned before becoming one of the more distinctive British alternative rock and metal bands of the early 2000s. Fronted by Dave McPherson, the band broke through with Overgrown Eden, an album that paired post-grunge heaviness, nu-metal-era dynamics, and unusually melodic, emotionally open songwriting. Songs such as "Underdose," "Firefly," "Crushed Like Fruit," and "Neptune" helped establish a fanbase drawn to the band's mix of vulnerability and heavy guitar work.
