Anarchus were a death metal band from Wimmis, Bern, Switzerland, active from 1988 and among the earliest Swiss death metal acts. Their demo catalog — including "Total Hate" (1988), "Final Fall of the Gods" (1990), and "500 Years of Infamy" (1991) — captured a raw, punk-inflected extremity that later earned a split archival release with Witness on Distorted Harmony Records in 2013.
Anarchus is a death/thrash metal band from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, active since the late 1980s in the city's vibrant extreme metal underground.
