Ayreon is the legendary progressive metal project of Dutch multi-instrumentalist Arjen Anthony Lucassen from Waalwijk, active since 1995. Through elaborate concept albums featuring dozens of guest musicians from across the metal and rock world, Ayreon has become one of the most ambitious and beloved progressive metal projects in history.
