Chemicide is a thrash metal band from San José, Costa Rica, formed in 2008 out of the earlier project Conqueror. The band is signed to Listenable Records and has released three full-lengths: Episodes of Insanity (2015), The Act of Retaliation (2017), and Inequality (2019), with lyrical themes centered on social injustice and violence. They have toured internationally and are among the most active Costa Rican metal acts on the global circuit.
