Stony Brook, New York's Gallery of Ghouls have been conjuring their particular brand of sludge metal since 2020, the name telegraphing a sound that's both heavy and steeped in macabre theatricality.
Gallia is a five-piece symphonic metal ensemble from Stevoort, Belgium, formed in 2019 and built around layered orchestral arrangements and powerful vocal melodies. Their releases include the albums Obscura and Everflame, establishing them as a rising act in Belgium's symphonic metal scene.
