Gas Giant is a stoner/doom metal band from Amsterdam, active since 2000. Over two-and-a-half decades of massive stoner doom from the Dutch capital make them one of the country's most enduring heavy acts.
Out of Arlington Heights, Illinois, Gas Mask Catalogue melds melodic death metal's harmonic drive with metalcore's cathartic dynamics, carving out a sound that's been evolving since 2009. The Chicago suburbs have produced a band with broader stylistic ambition than their geography might suggest.
Gasangriff is a black metal project from Ringsted, Denmark, formed in 2019, whose name means "gas attack" in German. The project channels aggressive, war-themed black metal from the Danish island of Zealand.
Gasbrand is a German black metal duo from Marburg (Franconia), formed in 2020, with Azaziel handling vocals, guitars, and bass while F.N. joined on drums in autumn 2020. Their discography includes Of Death and Despair (2020), Dishonor, Madness and Calamity (2022), and Fading Away in Nothingness (2025).

Freshly formed in 2025 out of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Gash Mallet arrived swinging with slam and brutal death metal at its most blunt and physical. The project joins a growing wave of Pacific Northwest bands pushing the genre's most extreme limits.
