Arlington, Texas's Hope Deferred occupy the grinding intersection of deathcore and death metal, channeling spiritual despair into brutally heavy music since 2016. The name comes from scripture; the sound comes from somewhere far darker.
Brisbane atmospheric black metal band Hope Drone formed in 2011 and established themselves with a 2013 self-titled EP that drew immediate critical attention for its dense, layered post-black metal approach.
