Krod is a one-man black metal project formed in Santiago, Chile in 2021 by Zabulus Valtakunta, who handles all instruments and vocals in an effort to maintain what he describes as the roots of black metal without adornments that deviate from its anti-Christian essence. The project has been prolific since its founding, releasing four full-lengths in its first three years: Total Destroyer and Rotten Gods Burn in the Abyss of Serpents (both 2021), Black Metal Legion (2022), and Satanas Rex Inferni (2023).
Krogan is the solo project of Peruvian-American musician Esteban Cueto, based in Lima, Peru, working across melodic death, stoner, groove, and doom metal. The project is prolific and experimental, with a string of releases since 2023 including the debut full-length "Warpath" in 2024, on which Cueto handled all vocals, guitar, and bass.
