Kamikaze is a Buenos Aires heavy metal band originally founded in 1985 by vocalist Enrique Gómez Yafal and guitarist Miguel Ángel Oropeza, both formerly of 100DB, alongside bassist Gustavo Perugino and drummer Claudio Gabriel Parolari. Kamikaze is a heavy metal and hard rock band from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, originally formed in 1984 and reactivated in 2016. The band released a self-titled EP in 1986 featuring the track "Machado de Guerra," which became an anthem for an entire generation of Brazilian metal fans, and followed it with the full-length Kamikaze II in 1990 on Cogumelo Records.
