Miasme is a post-rock (early); post-metal (later) band from Bolesławiec, Poland, formed in 2010. They craft atmospheric, dynamic post-metal compositions.
Out of Eureka, California's fog-shrouded coast, Miasmic has cultivated a black metal sound since 2011 that feels as cold and isolating as the Northern California wilderness surrounding them. Their music leans into atmosphere and hostility in equal measure, making them a distinctive voice in the regional underground.
Birmingham, Alabama's Miasmic Ooze arrived in 2021 with a death metal and grindcore hybrid that wastes no time and takes no prisoners. They traffic in short, brutal blasts that marry grinding velocity to the flesh-peeling heaviness of death metal, a combination that feels right at home in the Deep South's increasingly vicious extreme metal scene.
