Mammon are a black/death metal band from Linz, Austria, formed in October 2012 by Moe Harringer and Max Gierlinger. The band recorded their debut EP 'Phosphoros' in early 2013, establishing a dissonant and technically inclined approach to the black-death hybrid. After a period on hold, the band has maintained a presence in the Austrian extreme metal scene through their SoundCloud and Bandcamp pages.
Mammoth is the hard rock vehicle of Wolfgang Van Halen, son of Eddie Van Halen, who played every instrument on the debut album 'Mammoth WVH' before assembling a full touring band. Now shortened from Mammoth WVH, the project has grown across three albums — including 'Mammoth II' and 'The End' — into a legitimate rock act that stands on its own artistic merits beyond the Van Halen legacy.

Crawling out of rural Michigan with the weight of ancient stone, Mammoth Lord deal in crushing sludge-doom built on glacial riffs and suffocating low end. Formed in 2020, the band channels the bleakest traditions of both genres into something genuinely oppressive.
Mammoth Mammoth coalesced in Melbourne, Australia in 2007 from the musical restlessness of guitarist Ben Couzens and vocalist Gareth Sweet, delivering a self-described smash of stoner, glam, doom, punk, and psychedelic rock influences. The band signed to Napalm Records and released Volume V: Mount the Mountain (2017) and Kreuzung (2019), having built their following through a decade of high-volume touring and a series of independently released early records. Their fuzzed-out, high-energy approach aligns them with Australian hard rock traditions while filtering them through the American stoner rock aesthetic.
Northern Virginia's Mammoth Rider arrived in 2023 with a groove-heavy stoner metal attack that prioritizes hip-swinging riff momentum over any sense of subtlety. Thick downtuned guitars and locked-in rhythms sit at the center of everything they do.
Mammoth Storm formed in Säffle, Sweden at the end of 2012 for the express purpose of playing heavy, riff-driven doom, drawing on stoner metal and traditional doom conventions without affectation. The band released their debut full-length Fornjot in 2015 on Napalm Records, followed by Alruna (2019) on Argonauta Records, each featuring lengthy, slow-burning compositions built around massive guitar tones and atmospheric organ. Their straightforward dedication to the heaviness of the riff places them in line with Swedish doom tradition alongside acts like Reverend Bizarre and Witchcraft.
Out of Costa Mesa since 2011, Mammoth Thunderpower fuse Southern California's sun-baked stoner aesthetic with the murky drag of sludge metal. The result is fuzz-drenched and relentless, built for long drives and longer nights.
Mammutant is an industrial/death metal band from Fürth, Germany, active since 2017. Their sound fuses the mechanized rhythms and electronic textures of industrial metal with death metal's organic brutality, creating a hybrid assault from the Franconian Mittelfranken region.
