Black Arts is a black metal act from the northern Hungarian city of Eger, active since 2014. The band crafts dark, aggressive compositions from the shadow of the famous medieval fortress.
Mandatory were a death/thrash metal band from Grünburg in Upper Austria, founded in 2002 by Manuel Rohrauer and Leo Wolfmayr initially as a cover band before evolving into original material. Over their run through 2016, they progressed from a death/thrash approach toward melodic death metal, releasing material through Emdis Music. They represent a generation of rural Upper Austrian bands that developed through the regional rehearsal-room-to-stage pipeline.
