Mannaz is a black metal band from Poitiers, France, formed in 2021. Named after the Norse rune symbolizing humanity, they channel runic mysticism through raw black metal.

Mannequin Pussy formed in Philadelphia in 2010 and built a catalog around speed, vulnerability, distortion, and sharp melodic turns. Their history is one of refinement without softening: the songs became more spacious and melodic, but the core remains rooted in punk compression, cathartic release, jagged guitar texture, and lyrics that treat desire, anger, grief, self-possession, and bodily urgency as inseparable forces. The heaviness comes from emotional velocity as much as volume, especially when a hook collapses into a scream.
A thrash metal act from the Yorkshire town of Keighley, Mannix has been delivering riff-driven aggression since 2020. The band contributes to West Yorkshire's thriving metal underground with a sound rooted in classic thrash traditions.
Manntis formed in Riverside County, California in 2000 and gained wider exposure in 2004 as contestants on MTV's Battle for Ozzfest, a platform that led directly to a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. The band's debut album Sleep in Your Grave was released in June 2005, featuring a melodic metalcore sound that positioned them alongside the mid-2000s Southern California heavy scene. Despite plans for a follow-up album, no further full-length materialized, leaving Sleep in Your Grave as their sole major label statement.
Manntra formed in Umag, Croatia in 2011 when former members of industrial metal band Omega Lithium established a new project rooted in the collision of traditional Croatian folk music with heavy metal and electronic production. The band incorporates indigenous instruments such as the sopele, tamburica, and diple alongside electric guitars and programmed elements, singing in Croatian. Their album War of the Heathens (2023) reached number 43 on the German charts, making Manntra the first Croatian band to appear on the German Billboard, and they subsequently signed to Napalm Records for their eighth album Titans (2025).
