Natal's Nightbreath have been ploughing brutal death metal since the late 1990s, with early demos establishing their anti-religious stance and crushing approach to the genre. The lineup has included guitarist Herman Souza, a veteran of fellow Natal outfit Sanctifier, lending the band a lineage that feeds into the broader northeastern Brazilian extreme metal underground.
