Formed in the late 1980s, Necrópsia began as a raw death metal act before shifting toward thrash and ultimately hard rock, charting an unusual evolutionary arc across a handful of years. Their early work survives in two demos, "Vozes do Necrotério" (1989) and "The Final Abyss" (1992), which document the band at their most extreme.
