Silverymoon deliver power metal from Prague, bringing anthemic melodies and soaring compositions to the Czech metal scene. Formed in 2022, they channel the grandeur of the European power metal tradition.
Silvis Vetus ("Ancient Forest" in Latin) blend symphonic power and gothic metal from the Catalan village of Corca, layering orchestral grandeur over dark romantic themes. Active since 2017, they bring forest-dwelling mysticism to the Emporda region.
SiM, short for Silence iz Mine, formed in Kanagawa in 2004 and built a singular identity as "reggae punx" with a heavy streak. The band mixes ska bounce, reggae rhythm, punk velocity, hip-hop cadence, nu metal weight, and metalcore breakdowns in a way that sounds chaotic on paper but unusually natural in practice. Early releases established the hybrid, while albums such as SEEDS OF HOPE, PANDORA, THE BEAUTiFUL PEOPLE, THANK GOD, THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF WAYS TO KiLL ENEMiES, and PLAYDEAD expanded the band's reach. International attention grew sharply with "The Rumbling," written for Attack on Titan, but SiM had already developed a deep catalog around songs like "KiLLiNG ME," "Amy," "Blah Blah Blah," "EXiSTENCE," and "RED." Their scope is both punk and metal-adjacent: the rhythmic vocabulary comes from reggae and ska, but the guitars, vocals, live intensity, and breakdowns connect directly to heavy music. SiM's strength is volatility. Their songs can pivot from bounce to blast in seconds without losing a mischievous, confrontational personality.
An Oregon black metal and ambient project active since 2014, Simbelmyne takes its name from the memorial flowers of Tolkien's Rohan, signaling a lyrical preoccupation with myth, memory, and the weight of the dead. Their sound merges the freezing hostility of black metal with more contemplative ambient passages.
Simbiosis is a Buenos Aires groove metal band founded by drummer Claudio "Pato" Strunz after his tenure in the legendary Argentine thrash act Malón, alongside bassist Titi Lapolla (ex-A.N.I.M.A.L., Raptor) and guitarist Nico Takara. The band released the album "Riesgo y Reacción" (1999) and the EP "Neo Adicción" before dissolving, then reunited in 2020 with new material in development.
