Techno Animal was formed in London in 1990 by Justin Broadrick (Godflesh) and Kevin Martin (The Bug), combining industrial noise, dub, dark ambient, and hip-hop into an early example of what would later be called illbient. Their debut Ghosts appeared in 1991, with subsequent albums released through Virgin Records, and the project disbanded in 2001 after six LPs spanning a decade. Broadrick and Martin reunited in 2017 under the name Zonal, continuing the sonic legacy of Techno Animal in a new context.
Technologist is a progressive metal project from Manchester, formed in 2025. Their music explores complex arrangements and technical precision within the progressive metal framework, representing a new voice in the northwest England metal scene.
Tectonic Shifts is a stoner/doom metal band from Helsinki, Finland, formed in 2022. They deliver seismic, earth-shaking stoner doom.
Teddy Bear Autopsy deliver gleefully grotesque goregrind from Hradec Králové, pairing absurdist humor with hyper-speed blast beats and pitch-shifted gutturals since 2016. Their name alone signals the irreverent, cartoonishly extreme approach they bring to the Czech grind underground.
Teenage Deathexplosion is a death metal/grindcore band from Karlsruhe, Germany, formed in 2012. They deliver chaotic, explosive extreme metal blending death metal's heaviness with grindcore's speed.
Teenage Joans are an Adelaide duo formed in 2018 by Cahli Blakers and Tahlia Borg, making bright but emotionally sharp punk-pop with a playful surface and heavier emotional core. Their sound is compact and immediate, using fuzzy guitar, punchy drums, dual vocal energy, and hooks that feel casual at first but carry real bite. Early releases and relentless local activity helped them become one of South Australia's most visible young punk acts, with Taste of Me and later material showing their skill at pairing youthful imagery with anxiety, grief, frustration, and self-questioning. Their debut album The Rot That Grows Inside My Chest expanded the band's palette while keeping the two-piece urgency intact, moving through fast punk bursts, melodic indie-rock shapes, and choruses built for shouting back from the crowd. Teenage Joans' writing often uses humor and color to make difficult feelings more approachable, giving their music a distinctive mix of sweetness, noise, and emotional abrasion.
Teerlong merge the corrosive atmospheres of black metal with sludge metal's low-end brutality from the Utrecht Province in the Netherlands. Since 2017, this Dutch act has explored the bleak intersection where Scandinavian-influenced tremolo riffing meets the swampy weight of American sludge.
Torrance, California's Teeth Gnashers have been grinding out raw black metal fused with punk aggression since 2009, one of the longer-running acts in LA's subterranean extreme scene. Their black/punk hybrid strips both genres down to their most feral essentials — speed, scorn, and maximum filth.
Teeth Marks is a death metal band from Budapest, Hungary, formed in 2023. They deliver visceral, hard-hitting death metal with modern production and aggressive intensity.
