Temple of Katharsis is a black metal band from Kastoria in northwestern Greece, active since 2014. Their name evokes ritual purification, channeled through raw black metal from the mountainous borderlands of Macedonia.
Liège heavy doom outfit Temple of Nothing describe their sound simply as 'Down-tempo. Heavy. Doom. Rock.' and have been applying that creed since their 2010 debut EP Lazarus. Their 2013 full-length Psalms of Solitary Self-Indulgence expanded on that foundation, earning the band a following within the European doom and sludge underground.
