Undercroft formed in Chile in 1991 as a death and thrash metal band and released a series of studio albums through the 1990s and 2000s, including Twisted Souls (1995), Bonebreaker (1997), and Danza Macabra (2000). The band later relocated to Stockholm and subsequently Hamburg, reflecting the global mobility common to South American extreme metal acts seeking wider distribution and touring opportunities. They shared stages with Kreator, Morbid Angel, and Therion during periods of European activity.
Undercroft are a death/thrash metal band that emerged from the Chilean underground in 1993 with a pair of demos, going on to release debut full-length "Twisted Souls" in 1995 and touring with Kreator, Morbid Angel, and Therion before relocating to Europe.
