Zetra is a London duo formed in 2018 by Adam and Jordan, blending gothic metal heaviness with shoegaze atmospherics and 80s-inspired synth-pop. The pair self-released several EPs and cassettes before signing to Nuclear Blast Records in 2023, releasing their self-titled debut album in September 2024. Metal Hammer described their sound as "an icy, enveloping mix of 80s-inspired synth-pop, goth-metal heaviness and atmospheric dream-pop, capped with hazy vocals of indeterminate gender(s)." They represent one of the more distinctive entries in the revived gothic rock and metal underground of the 2020s.
Zeup is a stoner metal trio from Copenhagen, Denmark, formed in 2019, featuring guitarist/vocalist Jakob Bach, bassist Christian Iversen, and drummer Morten Barth. Their releases include "A Taste of Zeup," "Blind," "Mammals," and "Roads," blending stoner, grunge, and metal with clean vocals and lots of melody.
Zevo is a heavy metal and hard rock band from Palma, Mallorca, Spain, originally formed in 1989 under the banner of "rock duro español" (Spanish hard rock). Their catalog spans decades, from early demos through their 2022 album "Fuego Prohibido," with a remastered collection released in 2023.
