Afasia explores progressive metal and rock from Rome as of 2025, named after the medical condition of impaired language ability. Paradoxically, their music seeks to communicate complex ideas through the elaborate vocabulary of progressive metal.
Afasia was a symphonic black metal band from Conchal, São Paulo, Brazil, who released their debut album "Far from Existence, Close to the Essence" in May 2023 before disbanding.
