Simbiosis is a Buenos Aires groove metal band founded by drummer Claudio "Pato" Strunz after his tenure in the legendary Argentine thrash act Malón, alongside bassist Titi Lapolla (ex-A.N.I.M.A.L., Raptor) and guitarist Nico Takara. The band released the album "Riesgo y Reacción" (1999) and the EP "Neo Adicción" before dissolving, then reunited in 2020 with new material in development.

Later records leaned into pop rock, collaborations, and adult reflection, yet Simple Plan's core identity remains tied to punk-rooted immediacy. Their best songs do not hide behind irony; they make direct feeling sound energetic, accessible, and communal.
Westchester, New York's Simple Satan cross black metal with punk sensibility, formed in 2021 in the stripped-down, confrontational tradition where the two genres have always had a natural affinity. Their approach prioritizes attitude and venom over technical elaboration.
Death/thrash metal solo project from Teresina, Piauí, run by Stephen Lemos, who handles all instruments and vocals. Lemos revived the project in 2018 after an eleven-year hiatus from its original 2007 formation, releasing the Primeira Demo in 2019 and the self-titled EP in 2023, with lyrics focused on political and religious criticism.
