Wintergang was a depressive black metal and ambient project from Mérida, Yucatán, formed in January 2013 by the duo Belial and Tánatos. The project released its GRIS demo in 2014, a three-track recording built on bleak, lo-fi black metal with ambient undertones and themes of nihilism, depression, and nature. Wintergang has since split up and appeared on the 2014 Depressive Visions compilation The Way of Melancholy.
