Black Funeral was a black metal band from Avaré, São Paulo, Brazil, active in the mid-to-late 1990s. The band released the demo "Symbol of Power and Dignity" in 1997, an underground cassette featuring raw Satanic black metal in the style prevalent in Brazil at the time. They split up shortly after, leaving only demo recordings as their documented output.

Black Goat Spell is a thrash metal and crossover band from São Paulo, Brazil, formed in 2021. Eastbourne doom/sludge metal and hardcore band formed in 2022, creating what they call chaos sludge n' doom. Their 2024 album Low End Scum delivers gnarly, uncompromising bass-heavy beats with visceral confrontational energy.
