Dominus Praelii is a heavy/power metal band from Londrina, Paraná, Brazil, founded in 1999 (with releases beginning around 2002) by Silvio Rocha and Rafael Guilhen. Their name is Latin for "Lord of the Battle," reflecting lyrical themes of ancient warfare and mythology, and their sound draws from 80s influences such as Running Wild, Manowar, and Grave Digger; their discography includes albums "Holding the Flag of War" (2002), "Bastards and Killers" (2006), and "Keep the Resistance" (2010/2018).
