Anfauglith is a folk/pagan black metal band from Olinda, Pernambuco, whose name is drawn from J.R.R. Tolkien's Silmarillion — the Sindarin word for "Suffocating Dust" referencing the burning of the plain of Ard-Galen. Formed in 2010, the band draws on Moonsorrow and Thyrfing for their atmospheric framework while weaving in Nordic mythology and medieval paganism, releasing their EP "The Devastation in Ard-Galen" in 2019.
Delenda Arcana was a pagan/folk black metal band from Jundiaí, São Paulo, Brazil, active from 2008 until splitting up. Drawing on themes of paganism, mythology, war, and ancient legends, the band blended atmospheric black metal with folk elements, releasing the album "Last Breath of a Dying Enemy" in 2008.
Pantáculo Místico draws on the mournful, mid-paced doom of early My Dying Bride, weaving slow guitar dirges against delicate piano to create a sound steeped in occultism, hermeticism, and pagan mysticism — all delivered entirely in Portuguese. Their 1999 demo "Magnitude Oculta" established the template, revisited and expanded on the 2014 EP "Velado por Entidades" after a long dormancy.

Varúlfr is a one-man pagan black metal project from Argentina, active since 2024, with the same individual also running the black metal solo projects Blodmåne and KALDR. The project's debut release "Old Curse," issued on June 8, 2024, is a three-track EP featuring songs including "The Rebirth of the Heraldic Wolf" and "Dark Spells of an Enchanted Sword."
