An Austrian project whose name translates to "slaughterhouse future," Schlachthaus Zukunft began as an ambient black/industrial metal and drone outfit before evolving toward progressive and black metal territory across albums including "Absolve Domine" (2016), "Broken Chords Of Doom" (2018), and "Down to Heaven" (2020). The project is unsigned and operates entirely independently, resisting easy categorization across its shifting discography.
